Priya came to the site from nine years of consumer-finance and personal-spending journalism, where she learned that the number that actually matters to a shopper is "how much of my money am I getting back, and when." She is the team's fee-accuracy fact-checker, because a wrong restocking-fee figure is the single most common reason a reader emails a correction. Her work always separates the cost of a return from the task of doing one. She lives in the US Midwest.
